One of the best family-friendly restaurants in Davao. Vista View RESTO offers an amazing view of the city any time of the day.Vista View is situated on the highland portion of Langub. The restaurant offers an alfresco dining experience. For a minimum order of 1,500PHP, you may opt to dine in one of their nipa huts. Their menu mainly consists of Filipino dishes. My personal favorites are their bulad rice, lechon kawali and sinigang. They have clean separate comfort rooms for men and women. They have parking space outside, good for 5-6 vehicles. The area allows side parking during peak hours; also, newly arrived customers will have to wait at the entrance when the restaurant is operating at full capacity. They may, however, roam around and take pictures while in queue. For me, the best time to dine at Vista View is during dinner time. Consequently, many come to the restaurant and some flock at the entrance, waiting for available seats. Sadly, Vista View DOES NOT ACCEPT reservations on friday, saturday and sunday. They only do walk-ins or first come, first serve basis on those days.Customer service is on another level. Service attendants single-handedly carry large circular trays with heavy plates which is amusing to watch. They are easy-going and professional at the same time. Serving time is usually 20-30 mins., depending on the type of dish and amount of orders in the kitchen. So far, there had been no disappointing experience. Good job!

We've been dining here for years and their foods never disappoint. You can dine here with family, friends, and loved ones. They also have one of the best uphill views in the City. Should you wish to just breathe fresh air and feel the cold breeze at night, this place is a must visit. There are just some times (especially dinner on weekends) that the place is so full that you have to wait for 10-20min to be seated.

We came at around 8pm, so it was busy and we had to wait for a table to be available. Chose a table in kubo to have a better view of Davao’s skyline and it was worth it. The kubo is good for maximum 6-8 people, I guess.About the food, it’s good for its price already. We also ordered fresh fruit salad and it was just a typical salad. Nothing special. This place is smaller compared to Jack’s Ridge.

Me and my wife celebrated our first monthsary here at Vista View. I can say it is a good place to have our date since we have limited budget. Aside we enjoyed the food, we also enjoyed the panoramic view of Davao city lights. We ordered sisig, spare ribs and the avocado shake. And I can say the wa they prepared them has value. We will definitely coming back with our family together.

This is the place where we will eat with the whole family! The ambience is nice. Food is great! We usually come here whenever we have occasions. Its better during night, you can see the Davao's streetlights and it's very cold. Really good for a get together. One of our fave place!!!

Very nice restaurant overlooking Davao City with many different seating options available. We were a party of 9 people so the server turned two bench tables together to accommodate us.We had a selection of dishes to share with each other with portions of rice which was a bit sticky unfortunately. Apart from the issue with the rice the rest of the dishes were fantastic. I was slightly disappointed because there were no croc dishes available Great experience, fabulous food and great company
